Refund claims


Supporting documents relating to the refund claims

Medical expenses

  • Proper medical authority’s certificate, with detailed description of injuries or illness (Detailed medical report);
  • Original copies of care invoices and medical expenses duly paid;
  • Refund vouchers and forms of the insurance or social welfare institutions in the home country, or, failing this, the letter of non coverage issued by the insurance company;
  • Photocopy of the first page of the beneficiary’s passport and the page where the seal of entry into Morocco or abroad is stamped.

Transportation Ticket Refund (TTR)

  • Original copy of the death certificate;
  • Document justifying the family relationship between the beneficiary and the deceased (birth certificate, copies of pages of the family register);
  • Original copy of the transportation ticket or, failing this, the electronic ticket;
  • Photocopy of the first page of the beneficiary’s passport and the page where the seal of entry into Morocco or abroad is stamped;

Payment of funeral expense

  • Original copy of the death certificate (causes of death if necessary);
  • Certified true copy of the inheritance certificate;

Refund of body repatriation expenses

  • Original copy of the death certificate;
  • Copy of the mortuary pass;
  • Original invoices relating to the payment of funeral costs;
  • LTA copy;
  • Original copies of the transportation tickets of the accompanying person(s) with the documents justifying the family relationship with the deceased;
  • Photocopy of the first page of the accompanying person(s)’s passport and the page where the seal of entry into Morocco is stamped.

Refunding of expenses in case of technical disaster

  • Original invoices;
  • Copy of the certificate of car ownership + insurance certificate;
  • Document justifying the disaster occurrence: failure (immobilization certificate), accident (proof of accident or report); if necessary
  • Photocopy of the first page of the beneficiary’s passport and the page where the seal of entry into Morocco or abroad is stamped;
  • Copy of the car hire contract in case of replacement VHL refund.
